Rent a chicken
Get into the country way of life and rent 3 chickens to share your break with you! They will be sited within your glamping area in a Omlet Go Up chicken coup and run. You will be supplied with all you need to keep the chickens happy (food and water) and get to keep any eggs they lay for you. £20 for the duration of your stay.
Breakfast
A breakfast hamper will be provided for your first morning. This will inc eggs from our on site layers (when supply allows), sausages from our own Farringdon pigs, bacon, homemade bread and fresh orange juice. Homemade granola and fresh milk will also be provided. If you wish to treat yourself throughout your stay we can provided additional daily hampers for 2 people at £20 per day.
BBQ & Pizza
Want to make the most of the on site facilities and try your hand behind the charcoal BBQ and gas pizza oven?
We can provide BBQ packs to include 4 home reared sausages, 2 chicken kebabs and 2 beef burgers from our local award winning butcher Pyne’s of Somerset, 2 corn on the cobs & 4 rolls from local bakery for £20.
If pizza is more your thing we can provide a fresh dough base along with homemade tomato sauce for the base, mozzarella cheese plus 4 toppings from the following: pineapple, ham, mushrooms, black olives, peppers, pepperoni, anchovies, artichoke hearts, sweetcorn or chicken for just £15.
Luxury in small spaces.
The Shepherds hut has been designed with true luxury in mind. With underfloor heating throughout and a wood burner those cosy nights are just a few clicks away. Full bathroom facilities and a stunning oak table that hides a concealed fold away double bed means nothing has been overlooked to create a fabulous space for enjoying some time away from it all.
Wood Fired Hot Tub
Fancy a soak whilst taking in the stunning views, well look no further. Our Naked Flames luv tub is situated adjacent to the Shepherds hut and makes the most of our stunning views out over the Somerset levels to Glastonbury Tor and beyond. Enjoy the romance of starting the fire and watching the magic happen as it heats up to temperature. After time spent washing away the stresses of normal daily life you can brave the cold outdoor shower before wrapping up in a robe in-front of the fire.
